Side skirt conversion?

I have a 96 RS and was wondering what I would have to add or replace to put on 97-99 side skirts. I wasn't sure if I could just put the side skirts right on the body, or if I actually had to replace that whole side panel. Any help would be great.

I'm about to do the same thing, just have to get the skirts painted first. Anyways, you will need to drill some holes where the side skirts bolt up. i think there is a row of screws on the bottom and there are just a bunch of snap on clips on the inside of the pieces. Some people have used 3M body tape or something to secure parts of their side skirts but i havent decided if i am going to drill all the holes or a combo of screws and tape. The problem is that out cars dont have the holes drilled in them from the factory(obviously) so it might be a challenge to match up holes exactly. I'm still trying to find ways of doing this myself so if anyone else here can give us some info that would be great. good luck jakid.
