I put together a pic to show what I'm having a problem with. With the kit plugged in to the stock low-beam socket, there are several wires passing through the back of the headlight assembly, so that I can't fit the water-tight cap on the back. Am I doing this wrong? Any help greatly apreciated.

ur not doing anything wrong.. the cap wont fit.. i have HIDs.. with all those wires coming out.. wat can do is cut a hole in that cap.. to let the wires pass through.. thats wat i did..

I'm curious about that ballast issue as well. Also which kit did you get and how much? I'm starting to look around, and I see a crazy range from $300's on ebay to $1K on some sites. That's a big difference!

I purchased an 8000k kit made by a company called Vision^2 on ebay for $300. I can't complain, I know they aren't as bright as a 5000k kit, but they're blue as hell, brighter than stock, and they definitely have the "Wow" effect (and that's what I bought them for :D) . I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Installation was easy after I figured out what to do. I heated up an exacto knife to cut holes in the water-tight caps for the wires to pass through. I mounted the ballasts under the air filter on the left side, and behind the power steering tank on the right side, using heavy duty doulbe-sided tape (which has held out quite well).

If you have the set that has the metal cradle for the ballast make sure that the connection between the ballast and the cradle is secured because it acts as a grounding point. I had one of my ballast come loose from the cradle and make a beautiful show of sparks.
