hey guys i am sort of a motorcycle fanatic and i have a black 97 eclipse and was thinking of making my own harley davidson edition eclipse.

what do you think about that? any feedback/suggestions appreciated. mostly black with orange trim and lots of chrome.

also is there any place where you can buy chrome parts for the engine or do you have to do it the harder way and have them chromed somewhere?

Haloween Edition........ Hooters Edition

Your own color scheme is your personal choice, but please do not put a badge or anything faking whatever "Edition" it is, that would be ricey. Just say it was the inspiration for the color/look idea, dont use the wording "Harely Davidson Edition Eclipse" have it be your Edition of what an Eclipse should look like

oh absolutely no badges anywhere. i got the idea from a guy that made is own HD Edition Silverado so i though why not eclipse and im halfway there because its black.

could be hooter too and put a nip on the hump on the hood. jk.;)

do you know where you can get chrome engine parts?

for the sake of theme's and mods i always though it would be cool to take a awd talon, put some rally suspension on it, and paint it dukes of hazard style. Just a thought. Just a thought.......

I would suggest you trim the emtire car in chrome. Every panel. It's going to be a bi*** to keep it clean & all but that would definatly make it look "Harlyish" Cool, I just made up a word.

Bikes is bikes, cars is cars. Trying to cross them weakens both. With Harley's current status in the boutiqey-biker world, it'd diminish the DSM much more than it would the bike.

Just a personal opinion, don't get all testy about it. I hate Harleys and all they stand for. I ride ### bikes.

Other than the Harley tie, a black DSM with "proper" silver stripes and orange separators could look nice, if a little odd for the type. Same for black on silver.

thats cool. i dont take offense to anythin said here its your opinions. i just used the harley davidson title to explain the theme. i prob used the name to strictly. im not gonna get into puttin badges on the car cause that would be worse than ricing it out.
