Gage lights

Is it possable to file/tear off the orange film on my gage, then put in blue lights behind them, or will it look weird? Also, can anyone tell me how hard it is to get to the ignition light? Thanks guys

-you can do it, but its extremely hard and you might as well get some overlays

I recommend just getting the overlays. Replacing with blue LEDS is just too much of a pain in the #@!.

THat was a great link. I think replacing the factory lighting with a strong red led would make the nightvision better and give a truly individual touch (in sharp contrast to the retina melting and vastly overused indiglo junk).
