Hello all,
I own a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. No power locks, No power window, No A/C. Can anyone tell me what size my rear stock speakers are? My installer's guide says 61/2's, but I've heard some say they have 6 x 9's. I know I can look, but I want to avoid disassembling the car myself if I can. Thanks alot.

They are 6x9's. I just installed a set of Alpine 6x9's back there with no problem. If you have a little bit of a fitment problem try to bang in some of the metal with a hammer to fit the speakers in. We had to do that with my friends car it wasn't that hard and they fit pretty good. Let us know how you do with them.

my kappa 6x9's were too deep to fit in there without the magnet hitting, but a trim ring fixed that easily and the speaker still fits under the panel.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is this trim ring you speak of? I "think" I know but could you confirm, thanks.
