2g rs interior upgrade

i wen to the dealer and asked about putting a gs center consoul in but they said it wouldnt match up but the interiors are exactly the same arnt they. and i was wondering i have a 95 would a 97's interior bolt in to mine. cause i dont liek the gray i want the black. thanks

well i want the gs center consoul. it has the arm rest . you know how that is.

Yeah I know ...... I have been looking for someone that has the armrest....... I found one from carbonwerks.com but they want something like $85 for it! that's ridiculous!

Supposedly a dodge stealth's center console fits our car and sits a lil lower than ours. But dont hold me to that.


Just a word of what ive heard, ask someone that owns a stealth.

thats just the armrest for GS and up consoles. the rs console is shapped differently at the rear so you cant just add a lid from the GS and up. the GS and up ones have places for the hinges to go and to lock down. believe me ive had both

If you take the tray out of the RS it has the cutouts for the hinges and everything, it can be done! My boy has an RS with a GS armrest in it ... the only thing he had to do was modify the inside of the console so it had something to attach to ... and it worked good!

I stumbled across my center consol at a junk yard (has an armrest) and it fits like a glove. Dont know if it was off an RS or GS but it was a 97+

Im going back to the junkyard today maybe, so I will let you guys know if its an RS or GS

Damn, I got mine for $20. I have an extra cupholder under the armrest too.

How much would me RS one go for?

I am going to see if I can get the black vents out of the eclipse at a local junkyard, should I get the whole dash too? How much would be fair for a whole dash?
