Compass Gauge?

I know this might be a dorky thing to do, but I ordered a gauge pod with more holes than I have gauges, and I thought that a nice, quick, simple fill for the pod would be a compass so I could tell which direction I am going (I get turned around sometimes, laugh if you want).

Does anyone know where I can find a 52mm compass?

I think it's a great idea to fill up the hole, however it won't work . With a compass you have to hold it horizontal and parallel to the ground, and we all know gauges are on vertical angles so you can see...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ very enlightening, I had completely forgot that compass has to be parallel to the ground! but hey if he's just looking to fill up some space I guess it would work?
My suggestion would be to mount a Tweeter in there! HAAAAAAA!

Obviously you've never been in an airplane, smarty.....

They make compasses of all sorts that mount just like gauges, I just need to know where to get one.

I just checked out that site. And well, you're looking at like 120$ for the cheap one, going to electromagnetic remote compass' at 790$. And i don't think all of them will fit. Anyways, it's a great idea nonetheless. Hope you find something.

Yeah, I looked at that yesterday. Avionic equipment must be approved and teste by the FAA, which is part of what makes it so expensive. I was hoping for some non-avionic equipment
