i would just try to find some from a wrecked car that had HID's probably alot cheaper and its easy to wire..I got mine from a 2003 Sl500

hanabei are what I have on my 1g, 350 shipped to me, the ballasts are Hella. they work great, upgraded bulbs don't compare to hids.

if you do go with bulbs the closest that i had to hid look was piaa superwhites. but they burn out easy if you shut off and turn on the car while the lights are on and so on.

Krazy, what components do you need to wire up some HIDs? Projectors, ballasts and what else? How hard was it to wire up?

ballasts, ignitors, and bulbs. you can use your stock headlights if you want. as for wiring, you'd need to tap into the low beam power/ground for the HID's. also, you'd have to rig something up for the bulbs to stay in place. i'm trying to do the samething on my projectors with some audi HID's. hopefully all will go well. krazy can confirm/edit the things i've said to exact detail.
