My Plans for the Body of my car (Give your oppinions)

I was rear-ended (2G Rx7 went under my car) and its not that bad (About .25 inch worth of the botem rolled under my bumper, and my muffler is hanging down) You can hardly tell but I'm picky. I didn't see it as a big deal because i was going to get a body kit anyway. Well I dont want a kit untill I can afford the whole kit, and have it painted. It will take me a long time to afford my kit combo (Stillen Front, w/ Rdora skirts and rear) Plus paint so I figured I should just convert to a 95-99 body style.

How much would I be paying to get a front and rear bumper from a 97-99 shipped to my house? $200 shipped, isn't realistic is it? Does that conversion need Skirts? (will the body line up) is the Front or rear for 97+ any lower? What if I only got a rear bumper (the point now is to have a clean car, untill I can afford the kit and only my back bumper is jacked up, my front is fine) Also, I was wondering about just a rear lip? Were can I get one of those, and how do I know if it will fit, with my bumper being slightly warped at the botem now? I am getting either n1 or Evo in a few days (when I decide) to fix the muffler but, I am embarassed about my rear still.

Should I throw down the money to conver fully to a 97-99? Just get a rear bumper? or save up for a kit? How much money will I throw into a 95-99 conversion? Is the body of a 97+ lower? Does it need skirts to line it all up?

Another factor is color. I can get the 97+ front and rear painted my stock green metallic color. When I get a kit i wanted to change it to Candy tangerine, wich will take time to afford. Otherwise I will paint it a stock color, then have to pay even more to re-paint when I have enough to make it candy tangerine

Do a full 97-99 conversion, it will save you money and be much less of a headache with the fitment being perfect. I just got my side skirts yesterday and in the process of finding a bumper. Just look around and you will get a good deal. Try going to a local shop that installs body kits, they usually have people's old parts lying around. But if you do go with the kit that is a good combo it just gets really expensive.

thanks for the input. Does anyone have answers to the other Qs? does the conversion require skirts? are the 97+ bumpers lower? About how much is this conversion if I can get it? If I can find the 2 bumpers painted my stock color, is $400 a realisitic estimate to get 2 bumpers to my door shipped?
