lately i've been getting a lot of stainless cap screw hardware for the eclipse. the only place i know of that offers anything of the sort is machv with their stainless valve cover set. at 35 dollars, its quite pricey though. i know i like this stuff, and i've had a slight interest from others. i thought i would get enough for 20 valve cover kits, and 20 other kits. the other kits will have hardware for the fuel rail, tps, a few other things on the manifold, the water inlet/outlet on the side of the engine. 16 bolts in all for that one. i was going to throw these up on ebay for about 15 for each kit. other kits would follow, but these are to start out with. what do you guys think? here's a link to the machv valve cover kit.

i think if you take one of each size screw to a hardware store you can get them for a ton less then $35

to get them at my local ace hardware in stainless allen head would cost over 20 for the valve cover kit. mine will be less than 20.

i will be putting together a bunch of kits, but for now just the valve cover. the other kit i mentioned above has expanded to 30 bolts, but won't be available for a bit.

one that should interest those that prefer function over form will be a stainless bumper kit. i know i've snapped a ton of bolts removing the bumper, that should no longer be a problem with the stainless ones.

another area of interest is the suspension. i'm looking into some 17-4 stainless for this. this has a tensil stregth of 170,000psi, the same as most of arp's stuff.

my kits will be very reasonably priced. some, like the valve cover kit, will mainly be for looks, but there will be plenty of kits based on alleviating the rusty bolt syndrome. i will also offer nylon washers for those with coated valve covers, this will lessen the risk of chipping the coating.

anyone interested drop me a line here and i will put you on my list. i should be ordering 20 vc kits early next week.
