no dash lights, please help

I installed a cd player for my friend, he has a 95 talon, non turbo. I installed it and it works fine, the cd player that is, but the dash lights and the controll lights are wack!!! i checked all the fuses, thinking maybe it was just a blown fuse, but they were fine. Please help with any kind of sugestions. thanks you guys are great.

Maybe you just knocked a wire lose when installing the head unit. Just thinking out loud here.

There is a Dash light / Dimmer Wire that goes to teh Factory Headunit.
Yanno when you turn your lights on, the Radio lights up, when you dim your interior it dims too.

Alot of people confuse this wire for a Ground. Because when the lights are off it acts as a ground. Just Recheck your wiring.

A Personal note: Buy a $10 harness to plug into the factory harness.
Its saves time, headaches, and you can always go backto stock.
