Ive been doing some thinking about some major body work, and since im getting my car painted soon i thought about modifing my hatch so i can try to fit the 2G Eclipse turbo wing on it, i thought about all the possible ways it can be done. But i thought that i might not be able to open my hatch....should i attempt? or keep it the way it is? Has any one done this or seen pics......any info would be great

i seen a cioupule cars with it, it doesnt look right on a 1st gen, if really want a spoiler and are goin to do some major body work, maybe try to get some one to make a custum one out of fiber glass, something close to the stock 1st gen, that would look much better!

ya, it might not look right on a 1G, but i can get one for cheap, just wondering how it will look, i posted a thread in the Photoshop forum but no one ever responded

if you don't like the wrap around. the 92+ lasers came with a different type of spoiler that looks good IMO. i have been trying to find one but can't. check out LandoAWD (i think that's his name).

I don't think that the rounded off wing would look to well with the squared off look of the early dsm's

i agree with the above statements. the turbo spoilers flows so well with the 2g. i think the wedge spoiler on the 1g's fit it perfectly in their case. maybe you can photochop it and give us an idea of what it looks like?

Bah...I don't like the factory spoiler. Sometimes I'm more particular to aftermarket shit...which most 1G lovers hate...but to each their own, right? Maybe something like this...they're just a little too common:
