I am getting Eibach Sportline springs for my 96 and I was wondering what the biggest wheel size is that I could throw on her. Thanks guys

19's are the biggest you can put on a 2g

i have 18x7.5 with 235/40/18 and sprint springs 2" drop

Ya im lookin for springs today as well and i was wondering the same thing??? I got 18s on order with 215/35/18 and was wondering how low to go?? 2 inch should be good??? And did u guys ever hear tell of Goldline springs??? Any good?? And do i really need a camber kit?? Thanks !!

And do i really need a camber kit??

You bet you do.. unless you want to really wear out those brand new tires.. especially with a 2inch drop.. your wheels will physically look like /---\

I dropped my car 1.5" with the Tokico shock/spring kit and my camber was visibly off by quite a bit. You should make sure that you have an offset of 42-45 for your rims with a 2" drop to make sure you don't get any rubbing going over bumps or making tight turns.

Another bit of advice, when you are changing out your springs, change your shocks as well. You will save yourself some labor charges (if someone is doing it for you) because with a 2" drop your stock shocks/struts will not likely last much more than a year at best.

The extra money that you will pay to have someone replace your shocks after they blow will more than pay for you to get the shocks now and you won't have to worry about it. Make sure the shock you get is matched to be able to support the spring/drop you are putting on it.. That is why I went with a matched kit.

I have some 18x7.5 rims on order but here is a picture of the 1.5" drop with my stock rims

I just dropped mine with Eibach Pro (last night actually) and it gives a more stable ride than sportline, but sportline is lower (I think it's 1.75 compared to 2.0) With stock rims the body looks good, nice and low but there is still too much wheel gap.
