CAR AUDIO: These subs any good?

Found a deal for Orion XTR10D 10" subs (250 RMS). Just wanted to know if anyone had heard these and how they compare. I am looking for good SQ, not just loudness.

Also if someone has suggestions for relatively cheap, but awesome sounding subs, let me know!

I got two 10 inch pioneers that are great sound quality i put in for a show in a bandpass box im sellin for 100 ,.....400 watt RMS max each....i have a 400 watt amp runnign approx 150 watts each and it is nice and clear no distortion...

and box....i just got it like friday for a show on sunday..if you had a spyder i would say ill throw in the top cover...its perfect flush and stuff....hold on here is a pic

i dont know the model # but they wer my friends and he used them for like 3 weeks until his amp blew cause it was cheap and i bought them for 150...

Pioneer...meh. Orion is far better quality than Pioneer. Better yet, check out ebay for some Apline or Infinity subs...both very cheap and decent sq.

Get some RockFord Fosgate Punchz they sound really good. My friend has some and they sound very good and I think they are like $100 a piece. I have 12" kenwoods but I am not really impressed with them and I am thinkin about getting RF's

How do the Alpine 10" Type R's rate?

Also, I notice Alpine sells a 2ohm and a 4ohm version for the same price.... wouldn't it always be best to run with the 2ohm version?

I dont know what your price range is, but I am running two 12" Eclipse subs, both 1000 watt RMS, they hit like crazy though. I got mine for show, but if you want ALOT of bass, they are nice. later

I am more interested in sound quality than loud. I just really need a sub (or two) to cover the low end since I essentially have no real bass.

Those Pioneers are 400 watts peak, not RMS. If you want SQ, I recomend papercone in the 150-300 Watt RMS range.

Where can i get a custom box made for a gs not a spyder, I want it to look competition and be mounted so that it looks like its part of the trunk and not just a box dropped in there. can anyone help???
