I took my car to the dealer to ask about some rust spots on the hatch of my car. They looked up the vin number and told me there was nothing they could do because of a warranty restriction. It had the restriction for excessive powertrain modification, which I don't really care about anyway. They then told me because of that it voided my entire warranty. I asked him to explain and he couldn't, just giving me the customer relations number in California. I fall under the corrosion part of the warranty as far as the miles and year go, by the way. After almost 2 hours of arguing with these people, I requested to speak to the district service manager. I have yet to hear from him and have went to another dealership to maybe get a chance to speak with him, but have appeared to hit another stall tactic. I've checked 4 other 2g DSM's locally that have less than 100000 miles and they all have signs of this rust. I want to know what action I should take next, short of getting a lawyer (I can't offord that).
Sorry this is so long, but I need this fixed ASAP. Thanks.
