Then that is why. You should only buy the same brand when doing gauges. The reason the ractive one is brigter (i think that is the one brighter) is because they probably use a higher wattage led in it. You could just change out both led's and put in new ones of the same wattage. When i meant series. I meant like autometer has luner series, or like ..i dunno another series name.

I redo the wiring for the greddy, I dont think the Leds have anything to do with it because the greddy has a different power source(battery) and other gauge is tapped into power and ground from the cigarette lighter.

well the ractive is very bright, here's another pic so you can compare it to the other interior light so u can see how dim it is

I think it is the leds, because they are seperate companies. Does the greddy go right off of the battery? I think it is all 12v or something like that aint it. That is what all the electical connections and lights get. So they are both getting the same amount of voltage, just different wattage of leds or something liek that. It isnt that hard to change the leds

12v is 12v, no matter where, it all comes from the battery. if you are that worried about it, take a voltmeter and test the cig light wire.. it will read around 12v or higher if the car is running.

I doesn't matter the green on the Greddy EGT is dimmer than most other gauges. It's like that on my greddy also and every greddy I've seen.
