license plate move

i wanna place my license plate like shown...how did this guy do this? i understand he bolted it on the underside of the black thing on the front bumper but how do you get that black thing off??

you can't jus take it off its part of the bumper...just use L brackets and you set...

Mine's on my power steering cooler with a couple of bent, rubber-covered conduit mounts. Don't try plastic ties, it seems they'll melt off.

do you have to have a front plate in CA? when i got it, it didnt have a mount for it on the front, and i never attatched it. i havnt gotten pulled over or bothered or anything though. i keep the extra plate under the carpet in the trunk.

my guess is yes you do if CA gave you 2 plates, just my 2 cents

no offense it looks good and all but its a stupid idea, it takes all the air away from ure radiator and maybe even future FMIC

Not enough that you'd be able to measure it. There's more than enough turbulence around there to go on around it. Just not an issue.

just mount them on a hinge when the car is in motion the plate goes back when you stop it falls back down easy answers are the best answers

The black thing is called a bumber support. To get to it you have to remove the bumper cover. Thats is what is visible on the front.

I also think it is a silly idea becasue someday uou may want a FMIC and it WILL block it.

What sis the reaso you want it there, looks or becasue you are missing the holder?
