Cortland,
this all ties in together, how do I remove the HVAC controls on a 1g? so I can remove the dash, I have all the passenger side screws and bolts holding the dash in done, I just need to know which ones hold it in in the center, are the 4 bolts that sit above the computer holding it in for the middle? and again, how do I remove the HVAC controls, since they seem to be holding the plastic piece on front on, thanks

Good luck! I did it once on a 90, and once on my 97 and I'm not doing it again! :D

(I don't remember how to get it all out, it took forever!)

So your saying you can't get the whole dash out then? Or you just want that center vent dash piece out? That center dash piece is a pain, i've always just ripped the thing out. If you need help with getting the whole dash out, i can help you with that?

What we're trying to do (my b/f and I), is take the dash out of his Eclipse, and stick it in my Laser. So I'm assuming he's taking the entire thing out OMG\ I'll keep you updated on how it's going, if I don't rip it into a gazillion pieces first.:dsm:

well, I got the thing out, but it was a b*itch to do so, it had 2 hidden brackets, one pretending to be the glove box latch and the other hidden on the drivers side behind another bracket that had to be taken out first, I swear the dash had about 50 screws and bolts holding it in, what a pain, anyway what I am doing is converting my g/f's grey interior(rather dirty grey interior) to a nice clean black one, I tacked the dash first because its the biggest pain in the ass, all the other pieces should be easy(by the way the 93 NT(2.0 5 speed)is being parted out, its in the classifieds)

Thank you! :D For the sake of the other DSM members, I won't get all mushy on you, hehe. The black will definitely look a lot better than that scuzzy grey (which is pretending to be black).
