Hey guys,

Well I pulled my 1g seats out the back and am looking at the big metal compartment that was once my rear seats. I'm sure a lot of people take them out (they are worthless and I don't have to give a bunch of people a ride) but how do people go about carpeting the back? I was thinking about pulling the carpet out of a 2g RX7 hatch and then chopping to size. Since it will be old I'll use black paint (seriosuly; this worked on my MX-3 and turned out fine) on the RX7 carpet. At the same time I'll use it on the carpet under the front seats since they are coming out for racing seats in about a month or two.

2700 pound clean looking AWD, here I come!

Anywho, any other ideas for an approach to this? Or has anyone else done something similar? just looking for easy, COST EFFECTIVE, ideas. I'm not looking to win NOPI. I just want somethign that won't embarass me on dates.

Dag, yo!

Can someone please move this to the "Non Performance" forum. I don't know why I posted it here; blame it on the French or something.

since it hasn't been moved yet...............

after i pulled my seats, i ran over to walmart, bought some medium grey autocarpet for $20, and slapped it in. it doesn't look too horrible, but someday i'll just fab a deck back there to clean it up alittle more.
