Fake BOV info?

We got a guy here with a 2 G Talon ESI who wouldnt tell us (sitting in the paring lot) if he had a turbo kit on it. He wouldn't pop his hood but when he took off (shitty driving might I add) there was a turbo sound. I am not familiar enough to tell if it was fake or what but... they do make BOV's for non turbo cars right? It was really loud so, is there a way to fake the pssssssssssssshhhhh sound that well? He wouldnt pop the hood and im guessing its because he didnt want people to know it was fake, why else would he be ashamed?

my ranger does the "psssshhhhht" sound when i drive. but that is me making the sound as i drive it.

as far as tha guy goes, we won't know until he pops the hood. or just race him and see what happens.

they make a little whistling fan that you can stick in your tailpipe. Supposed to make a turbo like sound, i never heard one. Seen em though, on the shelf.

Not really you can vent a stock setup. But you gotta listen for the spoolup along with the bov. In order for it to be really loud he would have to have made some type of boost. So look for his accel. too. He can't possibly be goin 10 mph and blast off that loud.

Well I been talking to the guy more and he popped his hood finally. No fake BOV, but he has no idea why it makes that sound. He thinks someone had a turbo kit on it before, and took it off? But why would it still make that sound? WTF could possibly make that pssssssssh sound? no1 knows around here

So you saw the Bov???? There is no way in hell that the car would blow off if he didn't have a turbo. Especially if it blows off loud. So he's gotta have a turbo kit on it.

Being pricks is a waste of time. There is No BOV, no Turbo, No Speaker, trust me. I would like to get a shot of the engine bay, and a sound clip but wait a minute, you guys are a waste of time so why bother?
