Tynting the Windows (sp?)

Just wanted to know what the darkest a legal tynt can be, or any suggested tynt values for my Black GS.

go to a local tint shop and ask them they will know what the limit is in your state.

35% is the actual legal limit in most states, usually anything darker will get you a ticket. Some laws will say you can have your back windows as dark as you want, but the drivers and passengers side have to be 35%.

I have 5% all the way around, as long as you dont drive like a dick a cop usually wont bother you. Getting an inspection sticker might be a problem at some garages, some guys wont allow tint at all. Thank god i have an uncle who does inspections.

Ryan you should put like a 6" drop of 5% on your windshield. it will look good

35% on the fronts is legal for nc... don't go legal get 5% all around and pay the dude 5 bucks to pass you

Yes, you have to check locally. Here in CA we can paint the back windows solid black if we have side mirrors, buy you can't tint a windshield past a visor. They _just_ started allowing front side tint a couple of years ago, but not very dark.
