Replacing broken gas gauge

I broke the stock gas gauge on my car when I installed new gauge overlays. A local shop told me I'd need a new one, but the gauges are all part of one clustered electrical system. Would I need to replace the entire setup (speedo, tach assembly) or just somehow replace that gas gauge?

so just keep track of the milage or roll it back to what you have now, and sorry masta

Get the cluster and just swap the gas gauge, or swap your speedo to the new cluster. Or just make a note to yourself of the mileage difference and don't fret about it.
