6 x 9 Speaker Question!

Yea, i know about the audio thread.

How in the heck did you guys put 6 x 9s in the back? The stock grill is curved.. 6 x 9s are flat and way too large to fit in that area.. we even hammered in the fender insallation some to no avail.. atm im considering buying boxes and putting em in the back, cuz i cant get em to fit!

i'd like to know too. since i have some pioneer 6x9's from my old car that i was going to try and put in my talon.

Check on Crutchfield, it's something like 2-3/4".

If you had the stock Infinity system, it's 2 7/8" and if you didn't have the stock Infinity system, it's 2 1/16". Base your speaker selection soley off those specifications. There's few models out there that small, but they're out there.

When i put some pioneer 6x9's in the back of my 91, talon i just took the hole inside rear panel off took it in the house took out the factory gril and in their went the 6x9, i also put on the grills the look trick

I had to make pods out of fiberglass for my 6x9 subs that i just got put back in and blew one..pieces of shit.....You need to make a ring to go on the mounting bracket from wood to extend it if you wanna roll ghetto...check my pics
