head unit install in factory amped eclipse

i just wanted to get another person's opionion on how to put in an aftertamarket head unit and still use the factory am? btw its going in a 2g eclipse

You can't, pretty much. The factory head sends sound to the amp with the DIN cable. Perhaps an adaptor, or hacking open and jumping the DIN cable? I've not heard of it being done.

There is an adaptor that you can buy. It goes from the RCA outputs of your HU to the factory amp. Search the radio install threads to find out where you can buy it.
