i think that's just a standard DIN size radio, all you should need is a dash kit from any audio store. although ive seen people use the RS/GS 2g pocket that came factory, they buy it from the dealer, so you have a nice pocket for the remote or whatever under the radio. is that the 60watt unit? from what i remember if its the 60 watt and you aren't running a 4 channel, you'll want to run the power wire right to the battery with about a 10 ga wire so that the v-drive actually gets enough power.

Its the 50 watt model, with 3 outputs. I plan on powering my speakers by a seperate amp. Also - this fits my 95 corolla which i plan on driving till July when i can actually afford a gsx and so do you think i'll need to hook the head unit up to my corolla's battery for now? or just leave it the way it is? Thanks a lot.

Hey, are the 60w alpine head units DIN radios and just need that wire to the battery, or do they have a completly different harness?

Thanks

standard din size, but the v-drive ones with the 60 watts have a clear harness going into the radio and th eother one shave a black one, i think it's for illumination or something i can't remember. but all you're doing is extending the normal power wire it's not like a special harness or anything.

i like all alpine products, but it depends on what you want out of the system. check on crutchfield so you can do a side by side view with the other models you choose and find out if you really want 3 pre outs, if you need motorized faces and shit like that. alpine=can't go wrong with any of it imo
