guages?

I went on ebay to find turbo and air/fuel mixture guages. i found some for 145 and it came with the pod. But i was looking for ones the went in the center consoles heaters but theirs goes on the a pillar what do you think or where can i find some more exterior mods.

I want to be able to mount a boost guage, and an a/f guage or egt guage in the center a/c vent, and was wondering if there is a pod/hollder available to do so.

Ok. There is a pod for a gauge and an AFC. I'm not sure if there is a multiple gauge pod for it.

Allright i decided to go with the triple guage pod for $40. what guages do you think i should get. I know an EGT would be a pain in the ass to install and the air/fuel doesn't really do much i was thinking about getting the boost guage and the oil and water guages.

what do you suggest?

EGT.

the EGT isn't that hard to install. all you need is a drill, wire taps, and a tap (for the manifold). it would be the best gauge you would get besides a boost gauge.

allright i'll get the EGT and the boost but what should go in the the third opening, My friend keith who had the ### mountain dew is equivalent to liters post, Has a brother who will instal my EGT for a half rack. And he's a preety good mechanic.Anyway oil pressure or water temp.

if u already have an egt and boost, i'd do fuel pressure or oil pressure, honestly i'd believe thoes to be more vital than water temp considering if ur running hot as hell the egt will note it.

I odered an EGT, boost and oil pressure guages. They are all going in the tri pod holder that you will find at www.machV.com. I oredered my guages from summit (thats the cheapest place) they were the Autometer Ultra-lite series. And my friend found me my boost controller for $68 shipped.

hope u didnt get a mechnailca oil pressure gauge cause if u did u have a hot oil feed line nto your car and mine leaked

Thanks for the good luck post LandoAwd. NO i didnt get a mechanical oil guage, i looked into and ive heard they leak in the car. so i sprung the extra few bucks and got the other

Wow, i ordered my boost controller and guages from summit 2 nights ago. I took advantage if the free shipping, and there allready here waiting to be installed. my question is not about installation, but about how much boost i should produce. I only have stock exaust (which is only temporary) ive heard between 12 and 13 psi. but i want to be in the safe zone, its my only car. Well except my pimped out buick, which is being sold. well anyways thanks for the help.
