Front liscense plate brackets with FMIC

What liscense plate mounting brackets if any do you guy rec or use for your front plates with front mounts ?

you could try the dashboard technique if you can get away with it. Front plates are required here in Colorado but I've had mine displayed in the windshield since I got my 2g.

I used a piece of aluminum angle iron and mounted it to a bracket where the fog light used to be

I found a few holes on the bumper cover. Zip tied it closer to the driver side. Could be the holes for the fog lights but since I never had fog lights I can't say for sure.

You can just make new holes and use some thin metal from the hardware store on both sides to keep it from tearing through the bumper.

I was running the factory 1g metal on. Heard some people ran the evo brackets. I ended up buying an evo x bracket. Contours the bumper like it was supposed to be there

Here is what I doned with my 2 is put as closed as you can to the edge of the bumper and lean it back

I don't understand.. Is that how you mount it or not. A permanent mounting location is required by DOT. And it standing up like that is no good. Prob not legal if it's laying flat so no one can see it, would get just as pulled over for not havin' one.
You have to have the whole thing showing buddy, good luck with cops

Agreed. Especially where I'm from the state troopers will look for excuse to pull you over and get you for something like that
