rattling windows

OK ever since i got m talon i have been having problems with my windows. THey woiuld leak alot of water and when i compared my car to other 2g's i realized my windows didn't fully go up all the way they should. So after a long time of messing around with the door panels off i adjusted both windows perfectly and they have never leaked since. Now here's the problem. When the windows are down they rattle when ever i hit a bump or open and close the door. They sound so nasty like nothing is holding the window in place and its just banging around. Not to mention i didn't cause this when i fixed them, it has been like this since i have got the car. Both the driver and passenger side do it but the passenger side is worse. When the window is up the doors close very solid and don't rattle at all. Has anyone ever had a problem with this and how do you fix it?????

Mines the same way on my drivers side. Only when the windows all the way down though. When I shut the door you can hear the window banging around inside the door. Drives me nuts.

Mines the same also but its the passenger side and its only when the window is down. I took the door apart and readjusted all the bolts holding in the window and it seem to have gotten worse...

there should be some stops in the with some felt on them, that is what need to be adjusted.

Actually it's the special clamps on the bottom of the window which attach it to the tracks. The clamps are loose and need to be tightened.

Got the same problem with my car. Browsing and found this post. Thanks for all the info too! Now I know what to do.

BTW that comes from closing the doors by the glass only instead of the door itself. Lot's of people do that watch your passengers and nail them when they do that.
