Stock rims

Does anyone have a photo of the stock RS alloy rims painted matte black? I'm probably going to do that until I save some money for aftermarket rims.

Well I don't really want to waste like 20 bucks doing all the rims, because whether I like it or not, I'm peeling it off because I have matte black paint already so I'd paint them if I liked it.

The rs rims are ugly at best, they can't look any better. You can paint them all you want but at the end of the day, your stuck with ugly base rims painted black. Try to find your self some GST rims for cheap, painted gst rims actually look nice if done right. Although it is your car and your decision, if you really want todo it go for it and post pictures.

Good luck!

Oh no it does look bad! I'd rather throw steelies on it with a beauty ring than look at those things. I wouldn't drive it. I wouldn't even leave it parked in my driveway allowing my neighbors to see it.

I don't have any others. And I don't really have a lot of money to spend on wheels. Maybe I can find some cheap ones soon.

each to their own about the rs wheels. Its your car. But, me I also agree with others they are fugly, since I own them also.

That gun metal color isnt bad, would look good on 16 inch stock oz rally wheels or the 16 inch stock five spoke gs rims.

Look on your local craigslist, Dsm classifeds here or your junkyards for them.

You can buy them new from andysautosport.com

We share the same bolt pattern with LOTS of other cars. Stock Wheels from other cars looks pretty good on these things. I've ran Cobra Wheels (everyone loved those), Currently on Saleen Wheels. Others love the RX7 Wheels. I think those look awesome with meaty tread.

Another member is selling these but I don't know what to offer him. They're 17in, but he won't know the brand until tomorrow because it's at a parking garage. What should I offer?

If you find those mazda FD rx7 wheels you would need wheel spacers for them and they are 16 inch wheels.

Don't forget if you buy from Dsm Bro's you have to pay shipping which is a bit pricey when it comes to rims >.< !!!!

I am also looking into rims, if you wanna save money and have a lot of time on your hands!

You can scout the junkyard and find rims. Like 20-30$ a rim. Saves money and a lot of different variety's of rims.

I found a lot of 15's and 16's , but some are in bad shape and the ones I was gonna take. I took them off and hide in the corner.... Went back to get it... they were gone the next day... Some 15 in Chrome GST rims.

ALSO another source is CRAIGSLIST! Rim's are always on there.

I asked my dad and he said there's no junkyards around town, but there is some in nearby cities. And about the shipping, I looked on google and they said that it's usually around 50 bucks from FedEx. I'd obviously find out shipping before I bought them.

If the city isn't so far, I'd recommend the Junkyard for rims and parts

Shipping and prices add up, also if the rims have tires on it, it'll add weight and more $ for shipping. 150$ rims + 50$ ship already 200$ , while at a junkyard, you can save money and look around

I found a guy on Craigslist selling four new GSX rims, they are 5x114.3 Rims, they are brand new, he wants 300. Should I offer lower? And will they fit my RS?

I don't see why they shouldn't fit. I think 300$ is a bit much if they don't include some kind of tire lol. Have you seen any pictures to see if they have curb damage, bent, scratches, or something defective?

I'd offer 200, 225 at max

I already posted a new thread about this haha, but I offered 200 and he said no, it had to be 300. They're brand new. He got them from MOD day for free.
