does anyone have a 1g with triple guage setup in the spacer area under the cd player? Im wantin to do this but i dont think anyone sells this ,but has anyone seen one before?

do u know if it is a "DIN" size? a friend of mine owns a company that makes pods for VW's. but he is working on a 3 gauge pod for the dash of a VW. dont know if it would work, but might be worth a shot.

that pic is a lil bit like im talkin about juss not with the metal and something that would fit under the cd player and would hold 3 autometer 2 1/16'' gauges (somethin kinda made outa like a cd spacer or somethin) but, if any of you make one that looks nice, or knows where they can be bought, let me know thanks

well i really dont want the A pillar pod because it seems like thats what everyone has, and i juss kinda wanted somethin different

you should buy a bezel. i have one that replaces the stock one and holds 2 52mm gauges [i have the third in a single a pillar pod] . it is tyte. i can show you pics if you'd like.

yea i was considering that dash layout, but i was really lookin for a custom pod like a few people w/ 2gs have, cus i really havent seen what im lookin for on a 1g, but is there anyone that could possibly make a pod like im talkin about if so let me know,

you could do what i did, i went to Tap Plastics (the local plastic fabrication place) and had them cut me a piece of black acrylic plastic that would fit in the lower din (its hard to put in cds if the cd player is in the lower din). after i got the piece to fit in the din i had them drill a hole in it for my gauge. if you take the whole panel that the sterio and the storage hole/EQ off and take it in they can cut the piece to fit so that there is a little lip on the plastic to glue it to the panel. without the glue it cost me about $5-$10 i forget but i think that it was closer to 5.
sorry i dont have pics

I'd like to do the same thing so I've been researching it online. I found the site that sells the DIN panel for VW's, I wonder if that would fit?

Also, I used to work at a Mitsubishi dealer and I remember when we got our first Evo's in we installed quite a few Ralliart accessories, including a triple gauge cluster since stock Evo's don't have a boost gauge. I couldn't find the mitsu gauge cluster online except for this foreign site (at the bottom of the page):

I'm sure I could get the Evo version at the dealership, hopefully it will fit...and won't be ridiculously expensive.

Rice can be nice if cooked just right :)...I kind of like the absence of the dual Apillar pod on the left gauges in that pic. But how are the gauges being held on? Is that some kind of custom job or a separate kit? What are those yellow rods?
