So ive grown sick and tired of my yellow, hazy, peeling 2g headlights. i have used lens restore but it only works for a little. I want oem headlights but they are so expensive, i have found oem-style ones on ebay, 87 bucks and they look very similar.. does it seem worth the shot?

I remember reading a thread on here that say's it fits great but lacks adjustment like stockers. But that was what I read, don't take my word for it. I'm in the same boat as you LOL

If that is the case you could always buy the ebay ones and exchange the lens. Go to google and look up venture sheild. It's a film that protects your lens. Good luck.

My passenger side is bad. I can't fix it because it's coming from the inside. Sucks.
Im not sure about mitsubishi but my nephew 00 civic si. He took it to honda. For 80 bucks they cleaned the whole lens unit, inside and out. I was thinking about giving that a shot.

i have ebay headlights. they're oem style headlights and i've have had them for a couple of years now, mine don't get smoked, then again i haven't really been driving it a lot. been working on the car a lot:)

For $80 a pair, there is nothing to complaint about.

I have some as well about 2 years old and the clear is starting to peel.
I used Meguiars headlight restore and they looked like new again.

My car sits in the sun every day, so I'm sure that's partly why the clear is coming off so soon. I haven't tried any kind of headlight restore on them, they work great though and you are right for $80 there's no reason to complain.

Ya for $80 who cares if it last t years....

I also agree i have 2 sets of them and they are in great condition and easy to clean when they haze i say go for it!

They are ok. I mean, for the price, its hard to argue. Just installed some ebay halo projectors in the Talon today, and they look nice overall except for the fact that they don't fit that well. There's a pretty decent sized gap between the fender line and the light. Other than that, they work pretty nice.

I have them on my car, they may leak after a while because they aren't sealed units like OEM ones. I sealed mine as soon as I got them.

Do the eBay headlights ever have DOT approval? How about the lack of adjustment that "my dreamt dsm" mentioned, is that true too? My gf's car would need new headlights but they must have both adjustment and DOT marks on them since the inspection is really tight in our country. (Personally I believe that after WW II nazis didn't flee to Argentina but they were recruited by AKE, the Finnish equivalent of FMCSA.)

Most are "adjustable" I use quotations because they have adjustment screws, but they're worthless, you can adjust from one end to the other and barely move the light beam. Experience: 3x eBay headlights between 2 cars

They do have DOT approval, at least mine do.

I have the ebay projectors, and love them. Had them for 2+ years and HID's, and still working good.

I had a pair of the halo headlights for my old '99 i also had issues adjusting. The Ebay Ad will state whether or not they are DOT approved.

I've had ebay halo projector headlights on my car for over 4 years now. They were not a direct plug and play though and had to be spliced, which wasn't a big deal. Only complaint is that my passenger side headlight isn't fully sealed and moisture will get in it after rain.

i think ima do it, should i just use the lens from the ebay ones or swap them out, mine right now are kinda loose. is it hard to just change the lens?

I bought ebay OEM replacements and I love them, been on the car for 2 years and still look new.

HEADLIGHTSDEPOT was the seller name.

I bought some on ebay.. The halo, smoked/tinted headlights. They fit great, but the little connects that connect to the light bulbs was wrong, as I did alot of cutting and re-wiring. But other than that, everything fit fine and they look good. Of course this was only like a month ago I bought them.

I bought 2 sets from Headlightsdepot.com and when they arrived I put on a clear vinyl protectant. They've been on the car for at least 3 years and still look new.

^ good prices.. Where can I get this vinyl protectinct? Like
Laminex?

I have these too. Had to cut the OEM harnesses from my old lights. My left turn signal blinks twice as fast as my right though. They fog up/have clear coat peel (?), but I've had them for 5 years or so (but only 10k miles or so)
