hey guys
jus thought id ask and see what the deal is, at first i thought "wing haters" were jus the domestic(read: my car weighs 2 tons and i make 400 hp jus so i can keep up with the imports) guys, but its everyone.
Before you start in, i know there are "ricers" out there that think, oh yeah, a wing will make my moms honda civic go faster, but thats not me, i know a wing slows you down, its more drag, simple physics, and also anytime your are below say 70-80 mph, its not really doing anything(but slowing you down), because the cars are designed to handle well at these "average" highway speeds, but when you travel at a faster speed, the down force on the front of the car causes the rear to "lift" making the car "squirrly" or loose, this is where the wing comes in to play, the down force gives the rear better traction.
now im not saying i drive 100mph+ all the time, but occasionally i like to open her up and jus see what shes got, and trust me, the added stability at 120mph is extremely helpful. once again its not like im weaving though traffic at 100, not that i havent i jus dont make it a habit.
but my point is if i know what its used for and that was my purpous for putting it on my car why does every one have to hate on me like im all rice, forgive me if i like the way it looks, i think its sexy.
ne ways jus tryin to find out why every ones hatin

in my opinion it depends on what you want out of your car. If you live somewhere where people like wings and you don't get dissed about it so be it. If you live where people do dis on wings you have to live with it and if you want it bad enough you will get it anyway.....other than that let people dictate to you your whole life what is or isn't acceptable.

Because they like that sh!t. Who can tell anyone to not get what they like....no one.
