rol your windows down close the door and lock it....hit the unlock button on the inside from the outside...when you open the door...if you have one it goes off

does that work on a 1g? i think mine may have an alarm cuz i was messin around under the dash and saw an odd set of wires that i wasnt expecting, according to the Haynes manual.

how would you turn off the alarm then?? I have a 95 GSX.. and when i bought it I wasn't given the keyless entry remote or the alarm remote (if it even came with either) so if i were to set off the alarm.... what would i do to turn it off?

All you do is turn your key in the lock...that turns the factory alarm off.

but does this work on a 1g, like i asked earlier??

not to hi-jack the thread or anything, but i wanna know if mine does have the alarm as well...

I have a 90 Talon Tsi and stock alarm. When I try unlocking door from inside after arming alarm (like previous post said) it goes off. Even if I release the rear hatch after armed it goes off. I don't know how it is on other cars, but when my alarm is about to arm itself its indicated by a green "security" light.
