If you're doing it just for show and nothing else why not just hang another muffler on the other side and call it good? Why waste 500 dollars when you can hang another muffler on the other side and have it look the same.

i whould not buy that kit, i could go to the muffler shop and have them weld something up for me. I already have a full cat back (3in) so there is no need to buy the hole kit. i just used the site and the pic as a reference, so you guys knew what i was going for... the idea of just hanging another one back there is not a bad idea. but i whould have some problems with that, i had the hole undercarrige sand blasted and painted, and everthing is cromed. so i show the undercarriage also, so people whould be able to see that. thanks for the thought though, jason

opps... I guess I hit the back button 1 to many times and it replied the same reply :) ... If you go to some exhaust shops, they'll probably just make you a pipe coming off the new muffler and weld it into the 3" for probably cheap. But you may have to look for a muffler shop that's willing to do this if you don't have a cat. I found one and the guy made me a downpipe back 3" exhaust for 120 bucks. So thats another option and won't break your bank.

If you are getting dual tips, the rear bumper to get is definitely BOMEX, it laready has provisions for dual exhausts

Hmm, what would happen if you wanted dual exhaust and your car wasnt for show. That you wanted to gain HP out of it? Is that possible to have a dual exhaust that works just as well if not better than a single?

Make sure they have that product in stock before you order it. Like actually have the person you're talking to get off their butt and physically see that the exhaust is in stock if you order it from StreetBeat. I had ordered an intake pipe from them last year and it was on back order for 2 or more months before I finally cancelled my order there. They never charged me for it, but marking it down in the checking book messed everything up.

As for dual exhaust, go for it. Dan Cokic has it on his 1g. Car looked awesome in person. (saw it at Island Dragway, NJ)

alright, i think it's a go.. as i stated, im not guuna buy the kit there selling (that was for reference only). im just gunna go to where my uncle works and have him help me do it.

X|Crescens.. im not gunna lie, i love dsm's but i am the last to be giving you advise on anything that will give you hp. i still have alot of learning to do myself. but from what i have read, are cars being 4 bangers, are not gunna benifit from duels. maybe someone can ring in and give you a good reason why this is.

as stated i suck when it comes to engine mods, I am more of a body man. I have had my uncle help me with everything that has been done to the engine. but hopefully, from reading on here and other sites, i will be able to start doing the mods myself.

thanks for the help guys!!! jason

"but from what i have read, are cars being 4 bangers, are not gunna benifit from duels. maybe someone can ring in and give you a good reason why this is. "

the reason is cause cars with duel exhaust have v6s or v8s, or other kinds of engines with two seperate pison banks. you actualy have one header and pipe coming off from each bank... having two tips is just to look nice.
for performance, an this really only would work for a street/strip thing. is to have a cut out that would flow strair to a tip on the other side. that way your could use the bomex rear to all its glory, and then run strait open exhaust for obvios resons, but put a lid on it when 5 0 comes around
