Front 2gb OEM Bumper Options

OK guys,

I have an appointment to paint and buff the entire body of my car, as you can imagine I am more than excited for this and at the same time want it to be my own.

Based on gofers two toned CF spoiler and some other images I have come across what I have planed I believe will be unique based on some other firsts.

What I want is a two toned spoiler black on bottom and red on top(not CF).

I want the front bumper to either:

• Remain Stock
• Fill Fog holes, paint stock, cut opening bigger, and outline the opening in black(shown in pics)
• leave fog holes, outline fogs in black as show, cut opening, outline opening as shown

I'm thinking option two as it is not too much black paint while still giving the slight contrast to the bumper, as well I am planning on cutting the bumper next to the Mitsubishi symbols to give a bit more custom look as well as provide the radiator with some more airflow.

i would like to hear some opinions as well as some pictures if anyone has any custom work done to OEM bumper only.

This is what I would do, no radiator openings. Just exactly like this.

Yes,

I cannot use my fogs anyways because of my inter-cooler, no big deal to me. If really wanted to use them some where down the road I guess I could but as for now

I am going to go with fog lights holes filled. Intercooler opening expanded and outlined in black, two tone the spoiler, red gloss black. I will post pictures when they are finished hopefully sometime before may 20th. Then I gotta buy some wheels. Oh choices choices.

Wow, never realized the options I guess. If any I would say option 2.

I plan on going with everything filled and just cutting the opening bigger. My front end has an usual amount of stone chips.

Some of these look great. but heres my question, how is it done on urithaine??? From what ive always thought, you cannot do anything with it other then cut it... Ide love to get rid of my fog light holes - are these new bumper molds w/o the foglight openings?

So this is what Ive decided on going with the front bumper, sorry to use all your pics gofer but their high quality and the same color as my car.

As well as the two toned spoiler red and gloss black. I think this will end up looking extremely sharp.

This is a tight thread.
I like all these ideas, it is hard to decide which looks best.
OEM with filled in fog light holes looks nice.

Why spend the money filling the foglight holes when you can just enlarge the side intakes? I did a little photoshop on a 2gb bumper that I'd rock, I also added a CF hood too for ya.

Not sure if you'll like it since you didn't like my first suggestion but its also something different that hasn't been done before, it makes it unique.

I have ^^^ exact lip Raliart lip kit in my garage.
It's for sale BTW.
I do not need it anymore.

It's made of Urethane and as you can see it's mean as hell.

Option 2 sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for all the responses guys this is what I was hoping I would get before I sent the car in. I am taking it in after work today with a bunch of pictures now!

I am using oem bumper I do not want to add anything the body lines of the car, one of the reasons I chose this car was the flow of the original design, it will always be a classic that just "pops".

I am filling my fogs since I cannot use them due to my inter-cooler, the more and more I look at the filled designs and photo-shops the cleaner it looks and more I like it.

I like your idea however in reality if I were to open those up it would not look black all you would see is more stuff behind the bumper, not clean.
