I need some switch placement suggestions

Having a bit of trouble finding a place for my interior lighting switch.. most of the blanks have some metal behind em, currently looking at placing it under the steering column to the right of the steering wheel, if ya got any ideas, plz help.

I put mine under the radio. The plastic next to the cig lighter has nothing behind it. I have a manuel too, and they don't get in the way. Another good place is on the door. Where the side vent in the door is, you can put about 3 switches there. Just look around, there is TONS of spots to put switches.

i bought a hazard switch and modified the bracket to put it up by the vents where the hazard and defrost switches are

the compartment under my cd player is open though.. where can i buy a cover or something so i can mount a switch there?

I dont know if a 2g has a flat opening under the cd player but i just bought a black plastic clipboard from Wal Mart cut it to size, did some measurements to make sure the switches were placed evenly apart. Marked holes drilled them and installed the switches. Then i drilled holes that go where the screws would go and screwed it in the stock mounts, the radio bezel covers the screws. It fit 6 switches very nicely. I think it looks clean. I also did this to mount my s- afc in the dash center panel. Just make sure you dont sratch the plastic.

Total cost 4.00 dollars and a little elbow grease

PS if you have a dremel tool it cuts the time in half

In the glovebox in front of the cup holder...if you get rocker switches they fit perfect and you dont have to look at them every day
