How do you take off the rear wiper arm? I tried but couldent get it, and don't want to break it. What are the tricks?

Im not sure how different the 1g and 2g wiper arm assemblies are. But with mine it just screwed off. At first it wouldnt budge but after working with it a little (tugging, and screwing) it finally came undone.

I just did this delete a few months ago. You can buy a Honda plug and it will fit in the hole no problem. The part cost me like $1.75ish?

You can find the whole process and part number here:

If you are trying to separate the arm from the motor after you took off the 10mm nut, spray it down with some PB Blaster and let it sit. They actually make a tool for pulling off wiper arms, but if you have a small enough pulley remover that can work too. If not, put some heat on it and pry from the bottom (careful not to scratch your car) until it pops off.

I'll be doing this no doubt until my car go's to the body shop.

I did it because my wiper motor died and I wasn't going to spend anything over $20 for a motor I couldn't care less about. I think it looks much cleaner without it.

Yeah I got it, thanks for all the help. I need to find a plug for that and the antenna.

Anyone ever make the rear wiper button do anything else after removing the rear wiper?
I just removed my rear wiper and was thinking maybe I could use that to control my fans hi or low for example.
could anyone shed some light on if this would be possible?

I went to a junkyard and pulled the blockoff piece out of another 2G that never had a rear wiper.

Try 2 string wrapped around the base. Cross them, and they should keep the pressure more radially around the arm.

Never thought of deleting that.. But that sounds like a good idea they look pretty dang ugly anyways..
