2G Swapped

Ok i know it says im a proven member but i'm still very much a noob if you will.

I recently swapped out my 95 talon front end for a 97 eclipse front end along with the black factory headlights and they are awaiting HID's (3 DAYS!!!)

Now my real question is this. IS the rear able to be swapped as well?

Reason being is right now i have a mistutalon haha.

I have a friend who is willing to trade me his rear bumper full tail light and center piece aseembly as well as the GSX wing (SEX!)

If these parts will fit onto the talon then i most likely do it. If not and major mods will have to be done then i'll just rock what i have i guess. All input is welcome. Thanks a bunch guys this site rocks!

Yes it will work just as easy as the front end you put on.

You need to rewire the tail lights.

did the eclipse rear conversion on my GFs 97 Talon

You gotta get new brackets(from Home Depot) to put the Eclipse rear bumper on. the talon factory bracket sits alot lower then the eclipse bumper needs to be. so it wont line up correctly. heres what i did-

-took off bumper

-Used Selt Tapping Screws to attach the Brackets

then once i rewired the Reverse lights(had to lengthen then about 7 Inchs) i just put everything back together,and this was the final product...

$500?? Wow i spent around $125 to do my GFs rear conversion.

Rear Bumper,GSX Wing,Tail lights & Reverslights-got ALL for $100 on Craigslist

Paint-Just Sanded it and Primed it,wet sanded it,and primed it black,and get it ready for paint. since the whole car is going to be repainted.

2 Brackets- $4 piece a home depot

but like i said, i just sprayed the bumper Primer Black,and got it ready for the car to be painted soon.
