Looks nice Boost! I just did the same thing to mine. Mine are the factory rims off a 1998 Dodge Avenger. I've had them for a few year now but I just decided to paint them. These are just some cell phone pics, I'll take some better ones soon. I'm also painting the calipers red and I haven't finished the front yet. I'm very happy with how they turned out!

Hey Boost, I wasn't trying to steal your post, just trying to keep from having duplicate posts. By the way, are all three of those dsms in front of your house yours?

I used Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Coating spray paint. I got the can for $7 at Pebboys and it was enough for 3-4 coats on all 4 wheels.

As far as the steps, First I cleaned up the wheels real good. Then I roughed them up with some sand paper and wiped them down again. I put some tape around the valve stem and stuck pieces of paper, folded in half, between the outer lip of the rim. Painted 3-4 coats with 10 min in between each coat.

Sorry it took so long to get back on here, not trying to avoid it or anything just thought nobody was interested. I did pretty a rush job on them this time, I wanted to see how it would look. I just used some cheap hardware store spray paint. I had the black with a chrome lip for a long time then I went all black and didn't like and thought it wouldn't be ricey if I did the white lip because the car is white and it wouldn't be too overwhelming. As for the dsm's in front the red one and the laser are mine, the the white 1ga is my friends but it there so much it should be mine. I keep telling him it's better off with me but he refuses to hear it. Thanks for all the complements, since everbody likes it as much as I do I'm going to redo them. There are some spots that I am really disapointed with but what can you expect for barely any prep and doing a quick job. I always get in a rush. I also blacked out the tailights and it all works really well together. Props to 9!'clipseDOHC on doing a great job and doing the right steps to get it done the way it's supposed to be done. I love the way those Avenger wheels look. I would get rid of mine in a heart beat for them. Sorry for the long post, just trying to respond to everything at once. One question, what is OP? Everybody keeps using it and I have never heard it before, sorry not much into internet lingo.

Yah, I got to thinking about what op was and figured that's what it was.

Here's what it used to look like.

and then all black

I think the all blacked out looked better with the blaced out tails but I don't know. I do like the black white, looks wicked from the side.
