Finally Got the car lowered

Thought I d share some new pics, sorry about the small size, its the best dial up could pull off. Lowered on illuminas and FWD tein S techs. the fwd springs havent caused any real issues. After driving the car a year in AWD rally mode, it shure was an improvement

i know your looking for 2g GSX wheels but powdercoated the 3g wheels look just as good and they are A LOT! easier to find.

the problem with the aluminum gsx wheels is that they bend hella easy, I actually have 2 bent ones sitting around in the garage, and 2 3g ones. Take a look for the 3g eclipse ones, they are almost identical like gofer said, only they have a deeper lip to them and are one piece instead of 2.

Also, its going wiperless, squirterless, and wingless, soon when I finally put my cf hatch on

Such a pretty car. Have you ever thought of tinting the windows? I think it would make it look even sicker

Edit: And clear side markers......The orange sticks out alot. In no way do I mean any offense though, your car looks so freakin' sweet. Just putting my possibly unwanted opinion out there : )

I do want to get the windows tinted sometime soon. I had clear corners and got rid of them. They were too bright and stuck out in my opinion, I find that the orange fits into the bronze theme better

Well, I can understand if they were to bright. However, (If it were my car) I'd just get the "clears" and nightshade them. It just seems the orange does not go with the bronze. That's only my opinion, whatever you like best, is best.

On the tinting, I will give my opinion. 30% on front and 20% on backglass and small back windows. That is the best tint job. Not too dark, and night vision is fine. So if you wondered on what to get, it's perfect. And get it professionally done. My .02.

I think in PA anything lower than 70% is illegal on a passanger car but on SUV's and trucks it can be as dark as you want.

Wow, the car looks great. I think the only difference in FWD and AWD springs are that the FWD are a little stiffer to compensate for the extra weight. I run FWD springs on my Spyder (which is heavy, and I was advised to go with AWD springs) with no problems at all, Im glad I bought them that way.

Finally its lowered. I remember you first showed us those 4x4 pictures you had of your car .

I like the choice of going with bronze lip instead of the usual plaid out black/polished theme everybody seems to "think" looks good no matter what car they put it.

Once you get an FMIC your car will instantly jump the ranks as a "nice 2g" its so simple yet.

I would put some clear corner lenses myself.

No window tint?

Its a 1.5" drop, ANd thanks for the compliments REdturboeclipse, I have always liked your black car. Unfortunately a big front mount wont be happening untill I get myself through school. I ll probably end up with an ETS
