MY vis extreme gt hood

I got the hood for free, it flew up on the previous owner. So I had alot of fixing to do, but I think it came out pretty good. I painted it black cause I'm kinda tired of the carbon fiber trend. So hope you guys enjoy!

What all did you do to fix it?
How did you paint it?
If you removed any of the clear/gel coat, how did you reseal it?
Any close up pics?

I actually didnt remove the gel coat. I honestly didnt wanna spend that much time into it. I sanded it down lightly, took some red putty/filler and made thin layers over all the cracks I could get, then I sanded everything down again, filled again, then primed with a black filler primer. Then I just clear coated the primer cause when I put a gloss paint down it didnt come out like how I wanted. So I cleared the primer and got the results I was looking for. Then I just applied a compound and buffed the shit out of it. Everything was painted with spray cans. I'll get close up pics when I get home today.

I got some hood pins, I just gotta take off the bumper tomorrow to put em in! But yeah I'm definitely planning on doing that

What kind did you get that requires taking off the bumper?

its just the placement that requires me taking off the bumper. Since this hood has the humps towards the front, I dont want the hoodpins to be on the humps. So I'm taking them all the way out to the outer edges of the hood. I want my hood pins in about the same location as his...
