What would cause washer fluid to come out the hood nozzles by itself?

As the title states: What would cause washer fluid to come out the hood nozzles by itself? I will go for a drive, not once using the washer fluid, and when i park the car and get out I will notice that there is a little stream of washer fluid coming out of the driver side sprayer. I will also notice that if I do use the washers on purpose, fluid does come out, but the sending unit under the spare tire leaks quite a bit. I'm not sure if these problems go hand in hand or if anyone has had this problem. Little stuff like this bugs me LOL. Thanks guys/gals

On my '95 Talon TSi AWD, there are in-line check valves, one for the driver and one for the passenger. The washer pump has to over come the check valves before water sprays out. Perhaps your driver side check valve has failed.
