SO iv had my 95 eclipse gst for a few days now and it has some sort of "clifford" alarm
the remote looks "carbon fiber" and has a diagram of my car a lock button, remote start, unlock and trunk pop
well it randomly stops working with my car (battery will be charged and everything)
does anyone know what it is? or anyone in the area can possibly help me :S

honestly your best bet is to find out the exact type of alarm and the type of key fob and look for info on the internet cause i nkow how to use the factory alarm set up easy with the obd II plug but as far as aftermarket its iffy unless you know exact models n stuff if worse comes to worse you can take it to an alarm shop to check it out

Clifford is just another DEI line. Including but not limited to, VIPER, Python, and Hornet. You can try reprogramming your remote, or the "brain" box is bad. The latter is most likely the issue. But to reprogram the remote to the brain:

1. Open a door.
2. Locate Valet button. Usually just a black momentary switch (push button).
3. Turn the key to the ign. position (DO NOT START)
4. Press Valet button once. Release.
5. Press and hold Valet button.
6. Wait for siren chirp/horn honk/parking light flash.
7. After chirp/honk/flash, press and release "LOCK" on the remote.
8. Vehicle should chirp/honk/flash for confirmation.
9. Release Valet button. Turn key off. Exit vehicle. Test function.

If at any point in time, you can't get the brain to enter programming, or the remote to program, you have a bad brain. You could try to send it in to Directed Electronics (DEI) for warranty repair/replacement, but it's almost not worth it. I personally would recommend their newer lines. Take a look at their website Directed Electronics - Security & Remote Start and decide on what styling you like the best. Then find your local Directed dealer.
