(if you have not swapped it out already or are trying to restore your DSM to factory stock condition)

Talk to Terry Kobo, he is the manager for the Mitsubishi Car Audio Division.

All references goes back only to 1992, and even the 1992-1996 years are hard to come by. I was told that Terry could get more reference information for all years prior to 1992.

Will post updates as this develops. I would like to eventually have on line schematics for these units if available on paperback or microfiche.

One thing to know also:

Mitsubishi still only produces factory car stereo's. One of their major customers - would you believe - is General Motors! Apparently, Mitsubishi has been selling their units to GM for 8 years now according to their press release!

Will they answer questions about the workings of the Infinity parts that are in our cars.

The only thing I want to know is what the x-over point is on the stock amp, and what is the RMS wattage of them.

Don't expect much from either of them for help with products that are more than a decade old. And don't expect much from the web about DSM sound "systems".

Going into it, I agree they may not help much, but it is worth a shot to just ask. they might lead me to a source that may prove more helpful. Stay tuned, I will report more on this with facts on where help could be achieved. Companies like this have historical databases, and am thinking that I could find something through that direction provided that they are willing to help.

If you know of any other source that could help in this task, please fill me in.

Unfortunately, Defiant is correct! Infinity is totally a separate company from Mitsubishi car audio or Mitsubishi Electric. Search under Infinity in google and then find their car audio division. Chrysler owners need to do the same exact thing.
