Hey everyone so I just put a 1g bov on my 2g and I've never used a first gen bov before and I have it recirculated but under boost after I let off it makes the loud 1g splash and a high pitched one too I didn't know if that was normal sounding or if I did somethig wrong sorry newb question LOL but i'm not a newb I swear

I put the 1g bov on mine as well and i have the same high pitched whistle. Itss just the signature sound of them. Actually sounds like the turbo winding down, i love the sound.

Cool I just wanted to be sure LOL

Yeah that was weird. My greddy type s held 15 with no boost controller. My stock held 10 and now my 1g bov holds 12 psi. I sold the greddy so did that mean my greddy spiked when I had it.

It's because it doesn't leak like the stock POS stock bov did. plus if your greedy type s was holding 15 psi its because it does not leak and its good ,check your 1g bOV again for leaks

also the t25 is known for its boost spike , a MBC can help in here.

did you keep your lower nippple unplugged on the type S greedy or it was plugged when you had 15 psi?? go and search on the second nipple in here its beaten to death

good luck

Yea with the 1g I can hold 14 pounds no problem my old 2g one would only take like 11
