2g Fix dash Bubble

Removed my dash today and there is a bubble. I guess the leather just unstook from the dash.

Any ideas for a way to fix it?

I would flip it upside down.

Drill a series of small holes where the bubble is making sure not to go through the vinyl and get a can of 3M adhesive spray.

It comes with a red straw like WD40 so you can stick it in the holes and spray in all directions.

After you sprayed it down from the underside, flip it back over (like you have pictured) and smooth it out to where you like it. after you have it matted down how you like, lay a few bags of sand on it.
The sand will conform to the shape of the dash again and keep constant weight on the vinyl making sure it dries in place.
Make sure you have something under the dash to support it when you have the bags of sand on it.
You dont want the weight of the sand caving it in.

How hard was it to remove the dash? I am parting out my car and have never removed a 2G dash before. It looks like your issue is that the vinyl has shrunk and pulled up, there is a stronger version of the 3M adhesive that might keep it stuck together longer.

The dash was easy to take out. Did it all alone and took about 30min max.

nah, i like the stock look of the dash. i think the mats look kinda tacky
