Carol Stream, IL,
Im looking for some bright bulbs for my 95 eclipse.

I think lowbeam is 9006 and foglights are h3.

I dont want the ones with blue crap over it cuz that takes away the brightness. Anyone know any bright ones that look at least white and not yellow?

Hyper industries Super Plasma Whites They look purple/blueish and swirly, but when they turn on they're BRIGHT!

You should look into the Silverstar bulbs. There's two kinds out there...the Sylvania Silverstars in the U.S., and the Osram Silverstars in Europe. The american version is tinted slightly, and 20% brighter that most bulbs out there, while the European version is untinted and puts out 50% more light.

Here's a link with some stats on the bulbs..http://www.sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm

Goodluck with whatever you decide:)

You can get H-3s up to 130 watt, try the jeep/truck shops. Look for either Philips or Osram brand on the bulb base itself, sold in many different companies' packages. I don't like the blue stuff, it seems to put out less light.

You may want to do the 9005 conversion on your low beams, easy and cheap, though I've not really noticed much difference.

I don't know of honest 9005 upgrades, but they have to be out there someplace.

just to help you...I had the superstars...werent bright enough....then i bough an off the wall brand called world light..THey are the brightes bulbs ive ever seen...they totally make up and are brighter than my high beams...but pointed in the right place heh

My buddy just bought a set of Silverstars and they are as bright as his friends HID setup. He was amazed at how bright they are. He had a set of Super Street HID "look" bulbs that he paid $80 for, and he said that the Silverstars are way brighter than his Super Streets, and half the price.
