For future reference, the MBxxxxxx is the Mitsubishi part number. Just plug this in a Google search and you can probably find out what it is.

Are you trying to do some serious weight reduction?

If you aren't trying to make it an all out drag car I'd just remove the computer and leave the wires themselves there. Since they wouldn't save much weight, at least not enough to merit all the work to trace/remove the wires.

its not horribly hard to trace and remove wires. im trying to strip everything thats unnecessary. im turning it into my personal DD something i can haul my dogs around in. but no one else. future plans are a fully custom interior and i wan everything out of the way. i also need to either buy a non cruise throttle cable or make my own. still debating on if its worth saving those few bucks.
