Which is better in terms of the light being uniform/bright? I see on e-bay there's some LEDs that fit in the place of any 194 bulb, and they have them in practically every color. Same for the Lamp bulbs. So how should I decide which to use?

My reverse indiglo's just arrived, as seen below:

I want to finely sand all the color off the backs of the needles and do them red with a sharpie(because I don't think purple will show up well but is a tempting idea), then replace the bulbs with either a LED or bulb.

I could use some advice on the HVAC controls as well; I'm ordering the white face/blue ones from black cat custom very soon after I finish this project. Can you get the hot/cold control to light well on both the red/blue sides with respective colored LEDs? Was thinking about using a sharpie to color over the clear part of the knob either inside of it or outside, then use ultra-white bulbs or some LEDs so they light up bright.

I'm planning on replacing ALL the 194 bulbs with neato colored ones, coz I'm a r!c3r

I'll post pics of my car when it looks nice. Thanks in advance...
