Okay. i just recently purchased an iPod Touch. Why the Touch and not the Phone. Easy, im with Verizon and am not about to switch over to AT&T...Personally, i've not had bad experiences with AT&T, BUT, about 3-5 of my friends have AT&T, and they all have "missed" txts that i send them, and "lost" txts when they try and send txts to me. Only them...everyone else i know that has different services don't have this problem: Tmobile, Verizon, Sprint....so its not me.

Anywhoo, i got the iTouch, and i have an Auxillary Connection, so it works out pretty good.

BUT, i have a few questions. Right now my Cig Lighter is not working, so i can't charge my Touch, so that leaves me with the option to charge my Touch through that special adapter.

Now to the questions.

Is there an adapter, that will allow the charging of my Touch, and allow the stereo to control it? Right now, i can only charge it using a special adapter, but not control it with my stereo.

Here goes the information i can give:

iPod Touch (2nd Gen)
Aftermarket Stereo JVC KD-AR 390

There is no adapter or device that you can use to charge your ipod with the stereo input, it HAS to be through the cig lighter. I work at radioshack and we don't have anything of the such considering we sell many adapters for almost every kind of audio equipment.
Your best would be to fix the cig lighter. With that fixed, we do sell fm transmitters in which you could not only play but also charge your ipod at the same time through the same charging port.

Or you could get a different radio if you want to spend the money. I have an in-dash dvd player radio and it has a "media box" that plugs into it. I can plug my ipod into the media box and it charges while I can control it from the screen.

Okay, looks like i am going the cigarette lighter way. Thank you all for such quick responses. I love my new touch, and was just wondering if there was some other way, and we found one :)

Again thank you all for the speedy replies
